Margaret Selby is the President of Selby Artists/MGMT. With a critical eye for recognizing exceptional talent, she promotes the careers of leading choreographers, manages dance companies and theatrical events, and supports performances and touring throughout the world.  Her many accomplishments include producing the first Off-Broadway hip hop musical, Jam on the Groove with the Rock Steady Crew, which earned a Drama Desk Award Nomination and toured internationally.  She also toured the Tony Award winning Broadway productions of Fela! and Slava’s Snowshow. As a filmmaker, Selby produced and directed the Peabody award winning Everybody Dance Now.  Her special Two by Dove, appearing on PBS’s Great Performances: Dance in America, won two Emmy awards.  Most recently, she produced Blackstar Symphony, David Bowie’s final album re-imagined for a 65-piece orchestra and the highly acclaimed Turn It Out With Tiler Peck & Friends in London and the United States.

We are especially delighted to honor Margaret for her 20 years of hard work and dedicated service to Parsons Dance. Simply put, her unwavering belief in David and our artists makes us thrive.

Joe Lanteri is a towering figure in the dance world, celebrated as a director, choreographer, producer, dancer, teacher, mentor, and entrepreneur. His decades long commitment to dance education has garnered him numerous accolades.  Notably, in 2017, he was honored by Dance Magazine as “one of the most influential people in dance.” Joe has served on the faculty of the The Juilliard School for 27 years and taught at Steps on Broadway for three decades before assuming ownership and the role of Executive Director in 2018. As the founder and director of New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA), Joe has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of dance education and performance.  His dedication to dance also led to the 2010 establishment of the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation, which has awarded $5 million in scholarships to approximately 500 dancers, propelling them to pursue prestigious college programs across the country. In addition, Joe serves as an executive producer and director of the Chita Rivera Awards. His legacy continues to shine brightly, inspiring countless dancers to reach new heights of excellence.
