Hello World by David Parsons explores the evolution of man and machine as the dancers take the stage with custom-built highly sophisticated robotics. This exploration in drone choreography was created in partnership with Drexel University’s Expressive and Creative Interactive Technologies Center.
The Mix by Ephrat Asherie and David Parsons takes Parsons Dance to new heights with its first exploration into hip-hop. This collaboration strives to create not only a juxtaposition of contemporary dance and street dance styles, but more so a hybrid new movement form celebrating the versatility of the company. For this striking new work, Parsons Dance has commissioned an original score by NYC composer Marty Beller.
Together we investigate the union of these two atheistic worlds and their relevant meaning.
