ZAC HAMMER
 
 

Zac began his dance training at age ten with Charlotte Wendel and Densil Adams. An apprentice with Ballet Oklahoma throughout high school, Zac danced roles in The Nutcracker, Coppelia, The Firebird and Romeo and Juliet. Zac was awarded the Tom Adams Scholarship by the Dallas Dance Council and attended the American Dance Festival, where he participated in the International Choreographers Commissioning Program. In 2007, Zac graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in dance performance from Southern Methodist University, where his original choreography was produced as part of the Mainstage Season throughout his tenure. While at SMU he danced works by Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, William Forsythe, Joost Antoine Vrouenraets, Agnes DeMille and Alison Chase. Zac joined Parsons Dance in 2007.
