JULIE BLUME
  
 Julie Blume began her dance training at the New Hampshire School of Ballet.  She graduated Valedictorian of her high school class and went on to receive a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan.  Here she worked with Sandra Torijano, Peter Sparling and Bill DeYoung, and performed in works by David Dorfman and Lar Lubovich.  In 2004 she performed as a solo artist in Costa Rica and had the chance to meet and perform for the Dalai Lama at the International Conference for Peace in San Jose.  She joined Parsons Dance in 2005.  She is an advocate for integrating arts and medicine, and has collaborated with other Parsons dancers to perform in hospitals in New York and abroad.Back | Next
