CLOSURE was commissioned by Repertory Dance Theater in honor of the State of Utah's centennial celebration. Original score by Tony Powell, commissioned by Parsons Dance.

Inspired by Olympic athletes, Parsons explores the raw physicality and athletic power of dance using a variety of sharp movements and gestures. Dancers twist and turn in a number of repeating spatial patterns, creating a kaleidoscopic effect and entrancing the eye. CLOSURE exhibits a magnificent blend of lights, music, costumes, and pure physical dynamism.
