When are the Workshops?
The Parsons Dance Summer Intensive Workshop will be held Monday, June 3 – Saturday, June 15, 2013.
The Master Choreography Workshop will be held Monday, June 17 – Friday, June 21, 2013.

How much does it cost?

$1,195 Summer Intensive Workshop ONLY
$1,495 Summer Intensive Workshop PLUS Master Choreography Workshop ONLY (save $395!)
$695 Master Choreography Workshop ONLY
$150 non-refundable deposit reserves your place! Personal checks, AMEX, VISA, and MC accepted. Balance (tuition less deposit paid) is due by May 24, 2013.
Do you offer any scholarships?
Yes! Two merit-based, partial scholarships of $250 each (to one male and one female participant) will be awarded for the Master Choreography Workshop (only). All participants who complete the Master Choreography Workshop enrollment process by May 3, 2013 will be eligible. Scholarship recipients will be selected at the sole discretion of David Parsons, whose decisions are final. Along with your tuition payment and application, please also submit a curriculum vitae or resume; head shot; and a 1-2 minute video audition (solo or duet in DVD or web-link format). Winners (only) will be notified by Friday, May 24, 2013.
Where do I stay if I am not from New York City?
Special accommodations can be arranged through Marymount Manhattan College’s residence facility located at 231 East 55th St., New York, NY 10022. The application and information can be found at HERE. The college has reserved special pricing for the duration of the intensive. Many additional hotel and hostel options can be found near the Manhattan Movement Arts Center in Midtown Manhattan and the Upper West Side. Information on addition housing options can be found HERE.
What is the schedule like for the Summer Intensive?
Classes are held Monday – Saturday 9am to 4pm. There are no classes held on Sunday. Your days will consist of Ballet, Parsons Dance Repertory & Technique, Yoga, Pilates, Professional Development Seminars, Mock and Actual Audition with David Parsons, Family & Friends Finale Performance and more!
What is the schedule like for the Master Choreography Workshop?
The choreography workshop will be held Monday, June 17– Friday, June 21, 2013. The workshop hours are Monday – Friday 9am to 4pm. Each day begins with a warm up class; the remainder of the day is focused on your creative workshop with David Parsons!
Is there an audition for the Summer Intensive?
There is no audition; participants are accepted through application only.
Do I have to audition for the Master Choreography Workshop?
There is no audition for the Master Choreography Workshop. Along with your application and tuition payment, please also submit a curriculum vitae or resume; a head shot. Enrollment is limited! Qualified students will be accepted in order of applications received.
How will I know if I am selected?
You will receive an email confirmation of your acceptance to the program.
