Remember Me is a full-length dance-theater work and rock-dance opera, featuring Parsons Dance with the lead vocalists and music of the Grammy-nominated band, East Village Opera Company.
Lead Commissioning support for Remember Me was generously provided by the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation; and by Dr. and Mrs. Edward J. Prostic, in honor and memory of their daughter Elizabeth Anne Prostic. Elizabeth and her husband Michael envisioned the concept of the MetaCancer Foundation, which was founded and established by family, friends and co-workers of Elizabeth and became a reality on the first anniversary of her death. The MetaCancer Foundation provides resources and support for metastatic cancer survivors and their caregivers. For more information about the MetaCancer Foundation, please visit metacancer.org. To Elizabeth’s indomitable spirit, passion for life and love of Parsons Dance, the Prostics dedicate this innovative and monumental performance.
Additional commissioning support was generously provided by the Lisa and Steve Cundall Family Charitable Trust and Mr. Peter Schamel for Dancers Responding to AIDS and the Fire Island Dance Festival 14.
