In the End (2005)

Choreography by David Parsons
Lighting Design by Howell Binkley
Music by Dave Matthews Band

Set to the highly popular music of the Dave Matthews Band, this piece treats the audience to a visually stimulating, full-throttle dance that leaves the audiences (and the dancers) breathless. The intricate combination of lifts, jumps, turns and floor work create flurries of formation changes. Parsons has produced a dynamic dance brimming with intensity, theatricality, and athleticism.

IN THE END is a true testament to the creativity of Parsons' choreography and to the virtuosity of the Company's dancers.

In the End was commissioned by The Ferguson Center for the Arts at Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA. Additional support was provided by the Jim and Linda Ellis Foundation, in memory of Jim Ellis.
